Holme Farmed Venison has also created a range of Full Grain Deerskin and Deerskin
Suede. We grade and choose the best skins for our production and have a guarantee
to the supply we need, thereby eradicating the problems of the 1900's when Deerskin
was popular until unreliable skin quality and supply made it very hard for traditional
tanners to rely on it. In those days the large majority were sourced from the
wild. Often fashions are led by Royalty, Edward, then the Duke of Windsor was
a keen wearer of Deerskin and suede shoes which have set trends that continue
today
